Only Show Front Window
ScreenFlow always records the whole desktop, but oftentimes you want to only show a screencast of a particular window.
Since ScreenFlow always records the whole desktop, you will have to crop the screen recording.
There are two ways to accomplish this task:
Press the Crop Canvas icon (
) at the left below the video window to globally crop the canvas.
You can very quickly chop everything out of your screen recording except the frontmost window with this feature.
If you hold down the control-key when you move the edges of a clip in the preview area, the clip will be cropped. This is useful if you want to add a reflection to your cropped screencast.
